Business ethics was consolidated at our Company with the introduction of the Compliance system. Its main objective is to prevent any violation of rules comprised in the Südzucker Code of Ethics. The Company appointed a Compliance Officer with a view to effective control, monitoring, and documentation of measures taken in this respect. The person in this position is required to conduct an ongoing review of processes at each stage of the Company’s operations in terms of compliance with the Code of Ethics, laws and regulations, and generally accepted community standards.
Our Company’s business ethics are also subject to external verification by SEDEX, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange.
