The ISO 9001:2008 is a universal standard comprising requirements for a quality management system applicable to every organisation, regardless of its size or nature. Its main purpose is to enhance and continuously improve the standards for all processes in place at an organisation, which translates into product quality and satisfaction of customers’ expectations.
Südzucker Polska S.A. holds the ISO 9001:2008 certificate for the production and sale of sugar and sugar-based products, and the procurement of materials and services affecting the health safety of sugar production.
The first ISO 9001 quality certificate for the production and sale of sugar and sugar-based products was issued to the Ropczyce sugar factory in 2003. In 2006, the certification process was successfully completed by the Cerekiew and Strzyżów sugar factories, joined a year later by the Strzelin and Świdnica sugar factories.
In 2006, ISO 9001 certificates for the sale of sugar and procurement of materials and services affecting the health safety of sugar production were issued to the head office in Wroclaw, and the sales office in Krakow.
